1) What motivated you to take up Engineering?
Science has always attracted me since I was a kid. It was fascinating to explore the realms of the world in a logical manner. This love for Science gradually manifested and helped me to realize that I would wish to study this field further. Among the various branches of Science, Engineering opened the doors to a new world in which I was the creator. I could build my own devices and manipulate them to work as per my requirement. I could help to make a difference in the world. This scope led me to take up Engineering.
2) Was Maths your favourite subject? Did that make Engineering learning more fun and easy?
Yes, I always enjoyed playing with numbers and that did help in the long run. In Engineering, Maths plays a vital role and enjoying Maths makes the calculations much easier.
3) When did you realize that 'Engineers can also be Writers'?
We are brought up with the wrong notion that the degree decides the career that we will pursue. In today’s world, every domain is interlinked in some way or the other. For example, if you are an Engineer, you have to write your project report. On the other hand, if you are a Writer, you would require the extensive knowledge of Science and Engineering if you wish to write a Sci-Fi. Thus, this combination can be outstanding.
4) How did you dove tail your engineering skills to writing?
The olden days when writers had to wait for the approval of the editor of a renowned publishing house to get published is now gone. Yes, we do require the help of traditional publishing. However, the digital world is as strong as a book. My Engineering skills helped me to build my own website and maintain the same. The skills also helped me to pick up and practice the latest trends in the field of Digital Marketing in order to take my work to a higher level. This was both time saving and economical.
5) Could you tell us more about your organization 'StarWords India'?
We are a group of freelancers who have not sacrificed our passion for writing. Despite the busy schedule of our day to day lives, we care to speak our hearts out in the form of words so that we can reach out to our beloved audience.
Over the years, ghostwriting had become a formidable part of our writing career and the praise that we received for our work was enough to keep us running. However, as time flew, we realized that we should not sell off our talent; instead, now, we want to inspire the world by penning down our thoughts.
With the motive to build the largest network of freelance content writers and to give them the recognition that they deserve, StarWords India is a venture of its own kind that is ready to rule the world with a string of words beautifully woven into a unique piece.
6) Where do you see yourself 10 years from now with your blended skill sets of engineering and writing?
The world is transforming at a rapid pace. Thus, in 10 years, we don’t even know the kind of world that we would be living in. As an Engineer, I would like to contribute towards helping the society live a safer and comfortable life. And, as a writer, I will help them recall everything they should look forward to and everything they have left behind.
7) Where can we find out about your work and programs?
I am available at StarWords India (http://starwordsindia.com/). Feel free to drop me a line regarding anything you would like to know in the field of STEM and Writing.
